Legends Do Live 5 Year Anniversary

This past Saturday, March 24th ,Legends Do Live celebrated their 5 year anniversary at the Toyota Center.

Legends Do Live is a non-profit organization that focuses on giving back to the youth community by providing resources such as workshop programs and engaging activities. Doing so will help the disadvantaged youths stay on track and be a part of something positive.

The resources provided by the organization are after school tutoring sessions, resume building workshops, in school talks and college seminars.

In addition, Legends Do Live uses social networking to highlight the successes and also as an outreach to bring in more youths. They want the youths to understand that it is possible to use social media in a positive way. Showcasing talent through the different outlets is important because you never know who is watching. Whether you are in music or cinematography, exposure can be gained. Legends Do Live teach youths how to build a brand and be professional on every platforms.

The third component that drives Legends Do Live is the Art and Humanities which also stood out to me. They also want their supporters to be exposed and enriched. They host events at museums such as the Buffalo Soldier Museum, Holocaust Museum and Museum of Fine Arts just to name a few. Other activities include occasional wine tasting, etiquette courses and park explorations .
