Friday, November 20th students of Madison High School were met with turkey dinners to jumpstart their thanksgiving break. 50 families were serviced by Tava Cares, FuelUp, and Coremark through curbside delivery of turkeys and side items. Executive Director Jalene Mack & FuelUP gas station owner Taha Hashmi encouraged the parents and students that this partnership was more than just delivering a meal it was to fight for nutrition. Executive Director Jalene Mack quoted ” We partnered with each other to support Madison High School families in need during this holiday season, and provide a nutritious meal”. To assure social distancing, families drove up and staff from both companies placed the dinner items and turkeys in the trunk of cars. Tava Cares also plans to provide scholarship opportunities in the Spring to students of Madison High School.
